Ljot was born in Glendale California, to Nellie (Kesterson) and Charles Inglis and grew up in Sylmar California.  After graduating high school and junior college, Ljot worked in law enforcement for Burbank Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, retiring in 2014.  Ljot ended this career leading an elite multi agency investigation unit, similar to the police squad as depicted in the 1995 movie thriller, "Heat." 

Ljot is divorced and has four children one of which he tragically lost in 2007.  After retirement Ljot’s aspirations turn to singing.  Ljot has been studying voice with renowned vocal director Jean Arnett and is currently studies with the fame vocal instructor Lori Kibbe.  Through Ljot’s dedication and Lori's diligence they shaped his enjoyable and ageless sound. 

Ljot has teamed with the elite musician and song writer Jon Elefante to create Ljot’s first original song "Or Just Another Girl I Knew."  In addition Ljot is proud to be recording with the brilliant vocalist, Layla Elefante who is featured as his notable background vocalist and in the harmonies. Ljot has also had the distinct pleasure to sing with the renowned and witty pianist William (Bill) Schneider. Bill is best known for his musical arrangements for Bette Midler.  

Ljot is currently engaged with Jon in song writing and recording.  With their highly received singles of, "Or Just Another Girl I Knew"  written by Jon and their second single "No Bodies Fool," which was written and adapted from the late song writer, James Ubernosky,  They have then followed up by covering such classic rock and country hit songs as, "I Go To Pieces," "Travelin Man" and "Amarillo By Morning" along with several others that have thrilled their fans.

With their cover song "She's Got This Thing About Her," they have the audiences spontaneously holding hands. With their SURF ROCK song adaptation with, "She So California" their audiences are longing for their own, "walk on the beach at sunset ".

Ljot is currently working once again with Jon on their new cover ballad, "The One You're Waiting On," with the projected release in the early part of spring '22.
